Not the Octopath-Traveler.exe in main installation folder (this gives Fatal Error)
I don’t understand what’s happening I put the crack in the Octopath x86 folder and when I try to start the game it keeps going into steam log in
someone please tell me what to do not too familiar with CPY
Same thing like all other games when u install ur game go in folder CPY( CPY folder is on the same place where is Setup.exe) and copy paste all files from CPY folder to ur installed base game( it will ask u to replace files click yes) that’s all run game from desktop icon.

Same problem: fatal error.
Applied crack to correct folder and used Octopath_Traveler-Win64-Shipping.exe
Try this way—-
Run the file ‘UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe’ in OctopathTraveler\Engine\Extras\Redist\en-us
then change the save folder name to ‘OctopathTaveler’
Run the game by this file ‘Octopath_Traveler-Win64-Shipping.exe in Win64 folder.
Thx mate, I somehow managed to get it to work.
I used the Shipping.exe and after that gave me a fatal error, I tried the desktop shortcut.
Weirdly enough Steam fired up, the game started.
Appreciate the help, though.
When you use the “UE4prepqSetup_x64.exe” which folder you need to rename and where to finded plz
i keep getting the message “Youll need a new app to open this steam” HELP
Even with using Kala’s fix it just opens to a black screen, hangs, and crashes out with no error. Crack applied, etc etc

Same Fatal Error as everyone else. I’ve tried the various suggestions as well as some of my own to no avail.
I’m sure CPY or another group will have a crackfix out soon enough. We’ve waited this long, a little longer won’t
be too harsh. Anything to pass the time until BL3.
I just downloaded and installed, not any problem.
My PC is Win10 1903, use Intel 4670K, Nvidia GTX 1070, Driver 436.15
and I found something interested, if you go to the path Engine\binary\Third Party, you see the file Nvidia and PhysX, but no file of AMD…
the people of Fatal error, are you using AMD Graphics Card?

Same here , install the game , Apply crack , run from desktop shortcut , runs like a charm .
People getting fatal error should not have there driver up to date or do have some appz instaled in there compl wich cause conflict with the game . It is happening often with denuvo games especially with prog like riva tuner or such appz like that , that is why i am not installing those kind of appz .

Now I believe in Borderlands 3 and Code Vein crack, maybe no in day one but at least in first week.
Since codex can suuprise too, just like Resident Evil 2 Remake, but we still have Heaven Rain and Beyond Two Souls uncracked, I think as soon launch the Detroit, CPY should crack both, or since it came back we will have the crack one by one until the arrival of Detroit and maybe Assassin’s Creed Odyssey with all content :3

I run the exe in Octopath_traveler/Binaries/Win64 and it show black screen and it close
But i run it it with admin and it works!
i was able to make it work by activating Virtualization in Mobo i think it’s the real fix
I can confirm it’s a virtualization problem
This fixed it for me. Just turned on virtualization in bios, no more fatal error

Copy exe in “Octopath_Traveler\Binaries\Win64”, do not forget to backup the original file. Launch the game from “Octopath_Traveler-Win64-Shipping.exe”.

PT-BR: Antes de instalar o jogo, reinicie seu PC e no menu da BIOS, ative o CPU Virtualization. Reinicie, instale o jogo e aplique o Crackfix. Depois disso, funcionou pra mim.
ENG: Before installing the game, restart your PC and from the BIOS menu, enable CPU Virtualization. Reboot, install the game and then install with Crackfix. After I did that, it worked normally

I tried everything but game is still crashed
According to Fitgirl the Crack is bad so everyone might want to hod off a few more days.
With the crackfix worked 100% for me.
Add me to the list of people the crack didn’t work for… 🙁
Make sure virtualization is enabled (you have to go to the bios)
Turn off anti-virus during installation
Add the game folder to the exception list in the anti-virus.
Use the Crack fix after installation. Don’t use the crack the come with the ISO file.
Then run the game as an administrator
For me it worked for the 1st time with no problem.
If this does not work, then run the game as windows 7 in compatibility option. I personally did not do that but for some people it might work.
Works perfect for me: i3 6100, gtx 1050 2gb, 16gb ram. everything at max settings, 1080p 60fps.

1) Quit Steam, do not only reduce the window. Exit also from the agent running in the Background
2) RUN: Octopath_Travelever-Win64-Shipping.exe in the subfolder Octopath Traveler/Binaries/Win64/

before that tried the crackFIX, then running Octopath_Traveler-Win64-Shipping.exe, then exiting steam, trying both .exe again, then disable antivirus, tring both .exe again, all useless
