Even if you ignore the pronouns and the ugly characters, the dialogues are bad, the gameplay is exactly same from early 2000-2010 era of gaming. NPCs are all standing still they are all braindead and behave like robots. This is like a dumb MMORPG that you can play in offline mode. Towns are all with fake doors that you can not enter and everything exists only as cosmetic.

I’ll just say I HATE the activist garbage being shoved on us with these computer games nowadays, but Avowed isn’t bad at all, at least so far. And pronouns can be toggled off in the settings, probably in response to that asswipe Matt Hanson running his mouth before the game’s release. And as simple as the game is, I think it’s pretty good and has some really nice qualities. And this is coming from someone who expected another Dragon Age debacle. I’d recommend ignoring all the noise, and at least check it out.
