Hi, can someone help me please, i’ve played the game for like an hour, and then after that i’ve closed the game because i’ve had some stuff to do, but when i tried to open the game again it doesn’t launch, just pop the icon on the task and then closes again. Can someone help me please
Game starts fine when launching for the first time, but I had to lose it to do some other stuff. Now the game doesn’t launch (I click on the .exe and nothing happens). At first I thought that the crack was deleted by Windows Defender but then I remembered that this one doesn’t have a crack to begin with. The only way to play is by reinstalling the entire game and after playing for the fist time the problem persists.

It runs smoothly first time, but when I close the game and try to re-open, it doesnt open
the only way to keep playing is to get my backup save, reinstall the game and play “for the first time” again

Game install goes fine with no errors. Go to start game. Black screen for two seconds and then crash to desktop. Updated drivers. Tried both Win7 and Win8 compat mode. Any idea what’s up?

For anyone with the desktop crashing issue. I’ve sorted it out by disabling any overlays, Nvidia and afterburner, capped fps at 60 and slightly downclocked my gpu core, played last night for about 4 hours not a single crash with fraps on.
Ultra settings 1440p on 4790k @ 4.7 GHz and 1070ti 2015 mhz core 4430 mem give me 60 fps 98% percent of the time but the game doesn’t feel smooth at all. Installing it on ssd fixed it.
How can i downclock ? i’m having constant crashes, using an AMD.

Found a solution to the crash, but not the crash for the door. Just dont go in, instead circle back around and try doing that way, I just hopped over the rail and went up. Thanks for the game.
i found a way around it for me… instead of just going through i killed everyone through the door and walked very slowly through it… got me in and can now continue.

Set it to 60fps and set it to full screen not windowed to beat most lag
the game installed smooth with no issues. have about 10 hours on it so far great game and no crashes or issues with saves. thanks a lot 🙂

Im so tired of Developers publishing their games under fake “System Requirements”.
If it where not for Codex I would had purchased this game full price and would had to endure the pain of having to play it with horrible FPS drops while crouching on grass and frequent stutter, if the game is not optimized to run on stable 60 fps on a RX 580 8gb how the actual fuck can they say the recommended specs are RX 470? just drop Radeon RX 5700 as minimum or die Obsidian do not bait poor people into buying your garbage!
