Mine crashed at first and second try but able to launch after changing the compatibility setting.
1- ricght-click shortcut>properties navigate to compatibility tab
2- check “run this program in compatibility mode for” windows 7
3- check “run this program as an administrator”
4- go to “change high DPI settings”
5- check “Use this setting to fix blah blah…” and “Override high DPI blah blah..”
6- click “ok” and “apply”

It keeps crashing every time i am opening the .exe file.
The Cursor changes, but nothing apears, I can still see the desktop and then it crashes, by opening the crash window with the submition thingy.
Fixes i have tried:

3. Disabled Antivirus
4. Blocked Acces from internet of the app.
5. My drivers are all up to date.
6. Run with and without admin.
7. Run form Shortcut or without Shortcut.
8. Checked the read-only boxes on the EMP.dll ; steam-api64.ini ; steam-api64.dll
9. Modified the DPI boxes on the compatibility tab.
When i try to set it on compatibility mode for windows 7 the .exe doesn`t open.

THE GAME WORKS FINE! NO CRASHES, NO PROBLEMS! The only problem is the bugs in the game. Been playing for the last 2 weeks on Win10. The problem is with your crappy computer (software)! Did you really disabled the AV??? Even though you said you did it can run on the background yeah?! It’s also possible that it quarantined/locked the crack during the install. You have to check in your AV quarantine/lock files manager and ALLOW permissions. If that isn’t the issue try to uninstall your AV (completely). Disable the Windows AV also! Reinstall the game. Stop editing files that don’t need editing! This is just install and let it do it’s work. If your drivers are update and you did all of those previous steps…. Your computer has a deeper problem. A format or a technician would help in that situation… The game runs fine!

Doesn’t work FOR YOU! It works fine for me. No crashes, no hangouts, no black screen, no nothing! Just installed and ran like a clock. Perhaps it’s you that suck at computing, then goes on the internet and complain about stuff. And it doesn’t require to be a computing engineer/technician to make this work (yeah, you’re that bad). Check you C++ packages in Windows program list. You should have the 2008, 2010, 2012. 2013 and 2015/2019 installed. Both the x86 and x64 versions! See if they are the same version for every package. Uninstall/install accordingly. Update your Nvidia-Amd graphics drivers. Scan for malware, adware, riskware, ANYTHINGware. If everything is clean, disable or uninstall your AV (and the Windows one too). Reinstall the game. If this doesn’t work… Well it’s a miracle that you can even run games on your pc, which I doubt you can anyway. You should go to a professional and let them take a look at that trashy pc, because your Windows is in the sewer. This isn’t a Xbox or a PS you know…
