About the Game

Squirrelmageddon! is an indi solo developer release of an experimental indi, dark humor, 3rd / 1st Person, arcade like, sci-fi, run and gun, high score squirrel wave shooter for 1-4 LAN or online players.

The year is 2184. Humans have been living underground for over 100 years. In this impossible future, genetically modified mutant squirrels have eaten every living thing on the planet. They have come down from the trees and now rule the planet as it’s new caretakers.

Accept missions and play as a soldier or a ‘chipped’ squirrel. In multiplayer, killed soldiers will spawn as a chipped squirrel.

WARNING: this game contains extreme human on squirrel and squirrel on human violence. There is no political correctness in this game. If you are offended by the idea of violently exterminating bloodthirsty mutant squirrels, this game is not for you.

– 14 Weapons (including Proximity Mines and Grenades)
– Deploy and relocate Sonic Plasma Turrets
– Move barricades, crates and other objects in Single Player
– Persistent mission maps. Objects will spawn where you last left them on the map.
– Reset moved objects option
– Weapon levels and proficiency progression
– 10 mission maps
– 40+ missions
– Squirrelball mini-game
– Orbs of Delight (4x damage, run speed boost, 4x points [stackable])
– Point pickups (items, recyclables, intel gathering)
