This update does not work for me. Every version I’ve downloaded(3 separate rared files + the torrent) has a corruption error in Setup-1.cdx. I’ve tried extracting it with 2 different versions of winrar and they both find the problem. When I try to load Setup.exe from the torrented version I get this error “Hash sum of a file Setup-1.cdx is not valid, errors can occur, do you want to proceed?” If I try to proceed it finds MD5 hash mismatches but heres the kicker. Every time I try it, it finds mismatch errors in different files and files that previously had errors are suddenly valid. Despite it alternating mismatch files each time I try to install it, it always finds errors and ultimately fails.
I really don’t see how this could be on my end yet I don’t see others discussing it. The RAR files through browsers won’t even give you Setup-1.cdx because its been found to be corrupt. It also does not have a recovery record and cannot be repaired through winrar.
Other Codex releases work fine. I’ve never had this problem before with any of their releases or updates.
Turns out I had a bad stick of RAM I was unaware of which was causing my problems. Since removing it the update works.
