I’m having problems with starting the game. when I click on the game it won’t start even 10 mins later. When i look at the task managment i see that the game have started but after a few seconds it disappear

@Jasmine Yamashita, I believe that I had already addressed the ISDone.dll error at least one time in one of my past posts here for Code Vein and why it happens.
I will make an exception this time, however please note as I have said in one of my posts above, that I will not be providing further support for this game due to the fact that I feel I have addressed the primary issues that have plagued this game with crash launch, loading, and audio issues, for which I have provided working solutions for, among other things.
Here is how you can fix the ISDone.dll error and why it happens during game installation.
If the game failed the first time to install, run the installer again, and for the Drive and Directory path you wish to install to, make sure that there is no backslash at the end, meaning no ” \ “.
Here is an example of the right way to do install the game with no backslash: C:\CODE VEIN
The wrong way: C:\CODE VEIN\
And that is why your installation fails, and you get the ISDone.dll error, because the installer thinks that there is something at the end of the backslash which doesn’t exist, so you need to remove the backslash in order for it to install correctly.
Oh goodness, that’s weird. So sorry, I looked through the comments first to see if you’ve already helped someone with the same issue before but for some reason, I could not find one.
This didn’t help though, I’ll try to figure something out and post again if I find a solution. Thanks anyway!

@Jasmine Yamashita, I will have to look more into this for you, as I believe that you may be missing some important DLL (Dynamic Link Libraries in your Windows System folder), if you could tell me what OS you are using I could get back to you with a solution and post it here for you.
Sorry about the suggestion I gave you, it usually always works for me, but I think it’s because I also have the required DLL’s in my Windows System folder, which one actually pertains to a ISDone.dll.
@Jasmine Yamashita, Have a look at the recent solutions that I posted to help fix your issue with the IsDone.dll error, titled: HOW TO FIX THE ISDONE.DLL ERROR (IF IT HAPPENS DURING INSTALLATION OF THE GAME).
The solutions I offered there should help resolve the issue.
Heyy. Actually I solved the issue by installing in safemode. I’m not exactly sure why that fixed it, but it did? I’m going to assume that one of my dozen anti-viruses was hindering it and I disabled them by going on safe-mode. Very weird.

HOW TO FIX THE ISDONE.DLL ERROR (IF IT HAPPENS DURING INSTALLATION OF THE GAME):
1) Temporarily Disable any Antivirus or make an exception for the folder and the game installer to Whitelist it. Do the same if you are using Windows Defender.
2) Disable User Account Control if it’s running in your OS so you can have full Administrator Access over the programs, apps, and games you install without Windows prompting you if you want to install it. 3) If you are missing the ISDone.dll in your Windows System32 folder or SysWOW64 folder, you will need to copy and paste the .dll (Dynamic Link Library, into both Windows folders I listed here).

Click the Download isdone.dll to download the .dll you will need.
CONTROLLER ISSUES OR CONTROLLER NOT WORKING FOR CODE VEIN:
1) If using a generic game controller, and you have drivers that came with it, uninstall those drivers, and then reinstall them. Restart your PC, and then test your controller to see if it works in game.
2) Try mapping the keyboard keys to your controller with the free game controller utility named antimicro, which you can get from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/antimicro.mirror/
3) Try using a Game Controller that has better support for Windows, like an XBox 360 Controller for Windows.
4) If the game isn’t recognizing your Game Controller, unplug it from it’s current USB port, and plug it into another free USB port. If that doesn’t work, uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your Game Controller, or look for any driver updates that might support it.

Hello Im new to using cracks and all i downloaded 2 games so far they worked fine but this one every time i open the game it sends me to steam ive put the crack files and all but still not working is it a download issue, should i download it again or what, i used utorrent to download.
EDIT :: Nevermind had to cold restart the system a couple times after UN-checking the force WARP option in DXcpl and now it runs fine, thank you so much

I followed all of your steps in the pastebin including the UE4 re-req setup and completely disabling bit defender
that got me to the point where the launch logo will come up but i get an error message that says Graphics Drivers are not installed or are out of date, clicking OK terminates the game process
@phantomhelix, I’m glad to see that you were able to resolve your issue with your game by using the dxcpl (Microsoft DirectX Control Panel) utility from one of my posts, as a workaround solution that brings the game to a stable and playable state.

I have been playing Code Vein for quite a while now, and I have enjoyed it immensely!
Sadly, I do not have money to buy it legally, even though I wish I could, just so I can support the developers however I can.
I have noticed that the game got quite a few updates recently, however.
I do not mean to sound ungrateful, but I was wondering – is there a slimmer of possibility that we might get the update patches for the crack, somehow? I would really love to try out the additions in the patches, but it is impossible as it is right now.
Please, do respond if it’s possible as I’d like to know if I should look forward to it or not.

It’s been 4 months , the game went through multiple patches and the only version available here is still just 1.01 ( vs the game’s actual 1.20 ) .

it works fine so far but the game doesn’t recognize my controller (it’s a standard usb one, not for xbox). i did check a similar comment and tried all the fixes like updating drivers, restarting the pc and switching usb ports but nothing worked. windows does recognize the controller, everything works fine with the calibration settings, i’ve played other cracked games with it but it just doesn’t work with code vein. any idea how to fix it?
also this might be a stupid question but where does the game save screenshots? i’ve searched on my drive but couldn’t find it anywhere

i installed code vein using codex installer and i checked the box for copying the crack…….And the installation succesfully finished…… the afyer i opened the game from the desktop icon the game opens and the loading icon comes at the bottom right corner and it crashes…… Does anyone have this problem? does anyone know the fix?

I have an issue that I believe to be unique, I have read through in entirety all the help related content that has been sent here as well as on other forums and no matter how many solutions I throw at the problem it’s not working.
Issue – Game creates 2 saves, before the crack is added to the game and after the crack is added to the game, but the 3rd save is the issue whenever I open steam to get multiplayer working it force closes after I click new game.
Solutions tried – adding the shipping exe to exclusion list, afterwards adding the whole code vein folder to exclusion list, installed the x86 versions of redist (already had x64) and all DX updates, Allowing the code vein exe’s through firewall, updated my pc (allowed me to create a save in online mode because before it crashed if I pressed new game with wifi connected).
