The original Crysis was a massive hit when it released back in 2007 (the game still has a respectable 91 on Metacritic). It was, at the time, praised for its immersive gameplay and techincal oomph, to the point that it was often regarded as the benchmark when testing what a computer could do. No doubt you’re familiar with the “but can it run Crysis?” meme.
There’s no set release date for Crysis Remastered just yet, beyond a vague “coming soon”. Crytek’s last tweet;
