Wold this work on to of 1.0 and 1 1 Goldberg version?
is Goldberg = VREX?
No. VREX is the vr wing of codex. The update is probably not compatible with the Goldberg version.
I can confirm that this update does work with the Goldberg release. You just need to direct it to the root folder (whatever folder is above “\game”) as the install directory and it’ll find and patch the files.
I might recommend backing up your game prior to installing the patch but it worked for me first try with no issues so have at it.

How can i install it?
Been having an issue with this, on launch I load into an grey area with rubble and I can hear combine radio chatter. But it fails after 10-15 seconds with an error “time out waiting for a response from mongoose” any ideas?

Update v1.2 and Update v1.4 both show “hash sum mismatch” (1.4 because 1.2 isn’t installed, but 1.2 shouldn’t be doing this) I’ve apparently only got two hash sum mismatches, according to the 1.2 updater. Here they are; game\hlvr\pak01_344.vpk Hash sum mismatch! Required MD5: 1153245507
