I’m always getting 0x0000 referenced error. How can I fix this?
It wouldn’t launch for me as well. I clicked it and nothing happened.
Here’s the fix.
“If you don’t want to wait for an official GOG patch, you can just binary edit the common.dll file located in the Life is Strange/Binaries/Win32 directory:
replacing all (3) occurences of the hex-values string “C5 FD EF” with “66 0F EF”
The starting issue should be now fixed (well, at least for me!)
P.S.: To make the change, open common.dll with your favorite hex editor, then search/replace.”
I found the fix in here, by gazdi https://www.gog.com/forum/life_is_strange_series/wont_launch_possible_fix/page1
If that doesn’t work for you, try to install/reinstall/repair redist 2012.
Just download the xinput1_3.dll from Google for free and copy into the installation folder. It helped me for so much games when i get error. Or maybe you have the file somewhere in the folder from your other games, when it now help, copy this file into the Local Disk, Windows, System32. When it ask to overwrite, just click yes to overwrite it. Here is the download link from that file, this is official site:
