hey guys, can i know, how to get the infinite item stuffs. are they part of the dlc? like the re:2 ones. where you can easily access them from the start?

Seems like you are doing all the right things to have an enjoyable and crash free gaming experience. Some of the Scene Release groups are still active like CODEX, and sometimes you may even notice, if you look closely at the recent stuff that has been released by P2P (Peer to Peer) groups that collaborate and share releases and cracks among the Scene Release groups, you may have spotted a CODEX folder with the cracked executable and files for your game in one of these releases.

Sometimes even HOODLUM will have a helping hand from CODEX when it comes to crack releases or updates for some games.
Even though it may seem like they are not around as much, some groups are still pretty active, but most likely are taking a break or working on some other project.

Cracking games or reverse engineering something in a line of code is not as easy as it may look or sound, it takes skill, it takes knowledge, and it takes patience. It also takes the right kind of program to debug something like anti-tamper and copy protection measures, and you have to know what to look for when you begin to debug and take it apart, before you patch in your own set of code, or remove the line of code that will bypass what you want it to, in order for it to work.

Go to the following location: Users\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\952060

The folder you see on the end is where your Game Saves are stored for RE3.

If you don’t see any game saves in that folder, or you don’t see the folder: 952060 listed above, then something went wrong with your game installation.

At this point, if you don’t see the game save folder, you should uninstall the game, and before you run the Setup installer for it again, make sure that you have disabled any Anti-virus program temporarily. If you have Windows Defender running also, temporarily disable that too. Some Anti-virus programs will try to quarantine and block the cracked game files and flag it as a false positive, so to prevent that during proper installation of the game, make sure it is temporarily turned off. Once the game has been fully installed you can turn it back on again.

You should also check to see that once your game has been installed to the drive you told the Setup to install the game to, that you should see the following crack files in the game directory:

codex64.dll
GameOverlayRenderer64.dll
steam_api64.cdx
steam_api64.dll
steam_emu.ini
steamclient64.dll

::: For HOODLUM :::

hlm.ini
steam_api64.dll
steamclient64.dll

Depending on which version of the game you have, either CODEX or HOODLUM, you will need to check your game directory for RE3 to make sure you are seeing those crack files I listed above for your version of the game.
If anything is missing from those crack files, you will need to uninstall and then re-install the game again, otherwise the game will not work correctly as it should.

If during the Setup installation of the game, your Anti-virus or Windows Defender is causing trouble with the game installer, stop the installer, restart your PC in Windows Safe Mode without Networking, and once you are in Windows Safe Mode, run the Setup Installer for the game again.
Let it completely install the game, and once it is done, restart the PC and let it boot back into Windows normally, then launch the game and try to save at the nearest Typewriter you find.

If all goes well, you should see Game Saves files in: Users\Public\Documents\Steam\CODEX\952060

I’m using the FitGirl Repack based on the HOODLUM release, and that one includes the unlock everything DLC which is automatically activated after the game has been installed.

I’m not sure about the P2P Release though.

Already finished RE3: Remake, and some of the mods that are available for it are really well done and add some good replay value to it.

One such mod replaces Nemesis’s Butter Face, with his Original Face to make him look like his late 80’s original, which is much needed and added bonus for the game.

It’s nice as well, that Capcom had added in the Classic Costume for Carlos, where you could switch to his 1988 look, so he doesn’t look like a Hobo Bum with scraggly, unwashed and uncombed hair.

To best answer your question, I am personally using the HOODLUM version, and the only two PAK files are the ones that are located in the game’s dlc folder which are marked as:
re_dlc_stm_1158730.pak
-and-
re_dlc_stm_1348140.pak

One of the PAK files you see above is for all the Outfits for both Carlos and Jill including their Classic Outfits, while the other DLC is an Unlocker for the game that adds some Weapons and items to the Inventory Chest right from the start, as well as unlocks all the Game’s Bonus, and Artworks, etc.

As for the rest of the game’s files, it is your typical data file structure within the game directory comprised of some dynamic link libraries, configuration file for the game, the game’s executable, and a Redistributable folder for installing the DirectX Web installer to up date DirectX if needed for the game.

I would imagine that it is like that for the P2P release as well.

Depending on which version you have or decide to get, it really would not make a difference, so long as the mods that you intend to use for the game come from a well known source such as Nexus Mods, or Resident Evil Mods Modding Boards.

I myself have already mentioned here that I am using some mods with this game as well, and using something like Fluffy Manager 5000 – RE 3 Remake Edition makes it easy to just drop whatever mods you want to use into the mod manager, mix and match what you want to apply, easily install, load, or remove at your leisure, and even preview what the mod is about.

Plus, most of the mods that can be found for RE3: Remake are archived in .RAR format, which do not need to be extracted. Using Fluffy Manager 5000 – RE 3 Remake Edition, as I mentioned above, you can simply drop the mods you want to use in the Mods folder of the sub directory folders of the Game Mod Manager, and easily apply them to the game.
