Can confirm that game crashes after you save the game. GTX 1080 founders. i7-7700k, 32gb of 2400mhz. Gigabyte AORUS Gaming 7 270x mobo. Definitely not my PC causing the issue
Also confirming that the game crashes upon saving. The file will actually save, but you’ll always receive the language option and default audio settings before loading back into the actual game currently. Once you load back into the save file it reverts to all your changes.

Damn what a bad start for CODEX in 2019 .
After Catherine bad crack ( crashing in input menu ) now it is the turn of Tales Of Vesperia . The 2 first big titles of 2019 are badly cracked .
Since those 2 games are steam only protected , that is proving that CODEX are not verify there work before releasing . Too Bad .
Hope they will fix those 2 games before cracking others .

I can’t get pass the “Please select an audio language” screen? Anyone else had the issue? There is no button on screen and keyboard or controller no response.

i’ve found a part of the problem, it’s caused by the controlle (pd4 and ds4windows) for me, if you disable controller and ds4 before launch the game, you can go through this screen, then you can enable it and play, but it is a mess everytime you have an “information screen” like while the tutorials in the beginning.

Got the same problem with the new crack, it randomly crashes (generating a werfault), hangs (generates NO werfault), or closes hard (no werfault)
It will crash right when the intro branding tries to load
if it gets past that – it crashes on the intro video
if it gets past that – it crashes AFTER starting a new game, confirming settings, and the video starts up
It does get to generate it’s settings and save locations so I can set everything to low manually with the same results.
Interestingly, when I remove all crack files (and settings/save locations) and replace them upon first launch I get to the start menu, then the same results as above.
No AV interfering with the files, I ran compares with the compressed new crack files vs the ones in the game directory – exact matches.
I’ll generate an in memory stack trace if you’d like but I seriously doubt you need anything from me. You’re not even obligated to address this, it seems like an edge case but i will have a sad.

Not working for me even after using the crack fix. When I run the game, it shows a white screen then Baam! it closes and nothing happens.

Why on playstation controller the buttons circle and cross are inverted? The same way for square and triangle buttons.
I have problem, if i try to launch the game while there is a usb controller connected to the pc if just closes after 1 second, and if i try to connect the controller while the game is on it just crashes, anything else looks to work fine.

I have a save file i downloaded and im thinking maybe i can use that to get past the screen. Does anyone know where the game stores the save file?

@Big Bonner you need to download the addictional archivie marcker in yellow in this page , it’s under the green caption that allow you to download the game , that little archivie conatin the fixed files that will prevent the crash , and it also fix the crash after you save the game
Hey, I played the game for 20 hours without a problem, but I had to format my PC and changed from Windows 7 to 10, now the game won’t play sound in-game. The opening has its music, but anything else doesn’t. I’m not on surround and I have every driver up to date. Does anybody know how to fix this?
