You can update up to this but you need to first install all the updates starting from the game version that you have.

Not sure you can use older version of the game, the newest pack with latest packs was released.
Need the game and then this is the first patch for the new release
Codex installer looks at the files for version so might not work on anything but new release.

can’t run the game with the update. It runs normally with just the eco lifestyle pack, but as soon as I install this update it shows “this app can’t run on your pc” message. I’ve tried all the solutions I could find online, nothing worked except reinstalling the version with everything up to eco lifestyle

Setup exe won’t run, even with antivir disabled “windows is unable to access this file/ you may not have necessary permissions” etc.
Please help I can’t find a setup exe and I’m not entirely sure what that is. when I use the filecrypt link provided all that downloads it this : 7af62d87aee54c707f8cc155fe1a84efc80ff294.dlc and its only 5kb when it should be 226mb. I have the “The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle-CODEX” installed and have been running it no problem. I have no clue where to go from here
