Outlive the dead
World War Z is a heart-pounding four-player cooperative third-person shooter featuring massive swarms of zombies that recklessly rush their living prey.
Focused on fast-paced gameplay — and inspired by the incredibly popular Paramount Pictures property of the same name — World War Z explores new storylines and characters from around the world in tense, overwhelming, gruesomely exciting missions crafted specifically for modern PCs.
Level six character classes and various weapon upgrades to take on greater challenges:
Battle swarms of hundreds of zombies in gruesomely spectacular firefights
Coop story-driven campaigns
Fight other survivors in Player vs Player vs Zombies modes
Level 6 character classes and weapon upgrades to take on greater challenges:
Gunslinger – For those who skip the questions and shoot first, the Gunslinger is loaded with an arsenal of weapon damage and ammo-boosting perks to mow down the dead.
Hellraiser – Enough explosives can solve any problem! Hellraisers come armed with C4 and other tools for effective crowd control.
Slasher – For warriors with a sense of elegance, the best way to kill is with your trusty blade. Slashers have perks that increase melee damage and effectiveness while their armed tasers deliver electrifying results.
Medic – Sometimes the best way to fight the undead is keeping your teammates from becoming one of them. Armed with a Stim Pistol, Medics can heal fellow survivors from a distance and help keep the chaos under control.
Fixer – When versatility in any situation is the highest priority, the Fixer is there for you, starting out with an explosive ammo case and several teammate ammo-restoring perks.
Exterminator – Fire is the answer! Armed with Molotov cocktails and increased fire damage, the Exterminator just wants to watch the undead burn.

i couldn’t find the setup file in the unzipped folder of the update
I did everything right and this said failed O.o help
Same thing, installation failed.
Tried re-installing the game and then the update again, that failed too.
it says some of my files are invalid. does that mean i have to reinstall the game then the update again?
cannot install missing file vlcstylesinno.dll is missing
Sometimes the crouch option in game seems not to respond after applying the update kindly fix it plss it happens sometimes not always
Error ISDone.dll, ran as admin after clean install, tried win 7 compatible, (using win 10).
I install to c:\games fwiw
update give error message doesn’t patch
I don’t even know if the Update patch worked or not.
The wwzRetailEgs file’s Properties says File Version 0.1.0.13120, not 1.0.2.
But I do think that the Update worked.
The reason that I think that it worked is because the first time that I ran the Update setup.exe, it validated all of my files and after it installed it said “Finished”. I don’t think that it showed any error messages.
Now, when I try to run the same Update setup.exe, it says that all of my files are invalid, probably because it is looking for pre-updated files and they have already changed to the updated files.
I really don’t want to start from scratch and do a clean install.
I just wish that my game exe showed the correct version in Properties or inside the game somewhere.
@John Smith
Look at the patch notes. They changed a perk so if you have that perk then you updated successfully

UPDATE:
I decided to test it again.
I believe that the Update worked.
When you download the pre-updated version of the game,
the date for the wwzRetailEgs.exe is 04/16/2019
the File Version is 0.1.0.64241
and the Product version is 0.1.DEV.4586225 Art: 4586225
When you install the 1.0.2 Update,
the date for the wwzRetailEgs.exe will change to 04/20/2019
The File Version will change to 0.1.0.13120
and the Product version will change to 0.1.DEV.4600640 Art: 4601321
I have no idea why the updated File Version didn’t change to 1.0.2. I have no idea while the updated File Version became a smaller number instead of bigger than the pre-updated version.
But I did a new install of the pre-updated version, and a new install of the 1.0.2 Update on top of it, and the results were the same the second time around. No errors. Successfully installed. So I’m thinking that it updated. It’s just a weird File Version system.
will this include multiplayer mode?
online coming soon ??
