Developed by Firaxis Games, XCOM 2 continues the alien fighting turn-based tactics experience that began with XCOM: Enemy Unknown. You return as the Commander 20 years after the original games’ storyline, and this time, the aliens have already won the fight for the planet. This is the base game that’s being offered.
Meanwhile, Insurmountable is a roguelike strategy title that has you taking the role of a lonely mountaineer who is tackling the task of procedurally generated mountains. Dynamic weather systems, day night cycles, random events, and permadeath also throw more wrenches into the mix.
